Agenda - Week 8: 19th of October - 23rd of October

 October 19th

Dear parents, Today we discussed facts vs. opinion, we completed some mad libs, and we discussed rounding and estimating. We were taught P.E by Anya and Hayoung, and we worked on our reconciliation projects. Some reminders: - Next week is Pumpkinfest! We can decorate our own pumpkins and bring them into school on the 29th. :)

 October 20th

Dear parents, Today we shared our French answers and questions from our book report books. We are going to play basketball in P.E, and we also spoke about persuasion in English. We worked on our SS projects and we worked on estimation and rounding in math. Some reminders: - PumpkinFest is next Thursday the 29th of October. - Students can wear costumes next Thursday.

 October 21st

Dear parents, Today we discussed our characters traits in our books, we discussed then persuasive writing and advertisement. Afterwards, we worked on science experiments with the wind (anemometer and wind vanes), as well as transparent, translucide, and opaque objects. Finally, we worked on some word problems in math followed by the afternoon in the snow for "take me outside" day! Some reminders: - Math quiz is on Tuesday the 27th. - Pumpkin patch is on October 29th.
