February 16th
Dear parents,
Today we had a presentation from Asha on Chinese New Year, we began poetry in English, we were taught by Anya in P.E, we did research on Black History Month, we worked on transformations in math.

February 17th
Dear parents,
Today, we discussed Nelson Mandela, created a Frayer model for the word historic, researched our person for Black History Month, began a concept map for poetry, discussed New France and how Indigenous people live with the land, and finished with math.
Some reminders:
- Please bring back your FLA duotangs with your second activity completed, and your fun lunch order is due by Friday.
February 18th
Dear parents,
Today we were trained by our P.E trainer Selena, we discussed Michelle Obama, discussed verbs (être), discussed poetry, began new units in science: wheels and levers as well as electricity and magnetism, lastly, we discussed our unit test for transformations being pushed to Tuesday and did some more review.
Some reminders:
- Order Fun Lunch by tomorrow for the 26th of February. :)

Today, we learnt about Ruby Bridges, did some review for our math unit test on Tuesday, and began bio poems in ELA!
