Agenda: Week 37

Monday, May 31st

Today, we played madlibs/outside (capture the flag), finished our science projects & started planting for our new science unit! We also did a writing activity in French and editing activity in ELA.

- Friday, we are meeting Mr. T! 
- Friday, there is a Tuscany together.

Tuesday June 1st

Today we began by starting a new game in PE! We played tchoukball. It was a lot of fun! Then, we did stations in the morning before we finished our writing for French. After snack and recess, which we enjoyed outdoors, we came back inside for English. We worked on editing our beginning paragraphs and then if we were done, moved to the middle! After lunch, we read, presented our social studies presentations, and then started an art project with 3D shapes. 


Some reminders:
  • Library books at home need to be returned ASAP, please. :)
Wednesday, June 2nd
Today we began by presenting our burglar alarm systems! Then, the grade 4's looked over plants and their different parts while the grade 4's dove into mixtures! Then, we brought snack outside and enjoyed the sun before we dove into some english writing. In the afternoon, we had music, followed by some art time to finish up our optical illusion pieces!

Thursday June 3rd
Today we started presenting our French projects, and then had our Amazing race presentation. We played tchoukball in PE, discussed diversity in Alberta as well as the underground railroad. In the afternoon, we began a new math unit for solving equations using algebra.

Friday, June 4th
Today, we began by joining our schools Tuscany together. then, we went outside to the park and played, as well as ate snack. Then, we came back inside and completed some science labs. Afterwards, we played a math game called SCOOT. When that was done, we analyzed a piece of art. Happy Weekend!

- Monday is the last day to take out books from the library!
